What to expect at home
During a Mobile Tattoo Session we arrive with a portable, clean workspace and set up where you specify. We bring supplies, lighting, and a sterile surface; you provide a comfortable area and clear floor space. Setup time varies but is part of the session flow and contributes to any additional mobile fees.
A typical appointment follows design confirmation, stencil placement, and incremental work with breaks for comfort. Session length depends on the piece; a booked mobile slot may run up to 360 MINUTES when larger work is scheduled. Expect paced progress rather than rushed finishes; extensive pieces may require follow-up appointments.
Setup and safety protocols
Hygiene and safety are primary. We follow strict sterilization protocols for every session and use single-use disposables where appropriate. In a home setting we control the immediate workspace, wear PPE, and manage waste removal to limit contamination risk. These steps are non-negotiable for delivering a clean, safe session.
Clients should clear a flat work area, good natural or artificial light, and ventilation if possible. We adapt to each home's layout but limited space, pets, or poor lighting can slow work and affect session length. Preparing the area ahead reduces setup time and helps keep the appointment predictable.
Booking, timing, and pricing
Mobile sessions carry an extra cost because travel time, gas, supplies, packing, and home setup are factored into each booking. The base fee for this service is $300; additional travel or time charges may apply depending on distance and appointment specifics. Ask about any extra charges when you book to avoid surprises.
Our calendar fills seasonally—busiest months are Mar, Apr, May—when clients spend spring refunds and prepare for warm-weather events. Plan and book early for those months to secure preferred days. Short-notice bookings are possible but subject to availability and the practical limits of travel and setup time.
